Okinawa (Japan) - The fifth Okinawa International Film Festival closed its 8 days comedy-oriented festival with the closing ceremony and the all ending event.
The total number of admission during the festival reached 422,000. This is the highest record of the total admission in the last five years.
Indian film, “Barfi!” won the Special Jury Prize “Golden SHISA Award” while “CHINESE ZODIAC” (Taiwan) and “The Happy life of Debbie” (Taiwan) won Uminchu Prize Grand Prix in Laugh and Peace Categories.
