BEIJING - China’s Alibaba is to launch its own version of ChatGPT and will be first integrated into DingTalk, Alibaba’s workplace messaging app.
OpenAI’s chatbot ChatGPT could soon face serious competition from China, with Alibaba Group Holding on Tuesday unveiling Tongyi Qianwen – an AI large language model similar to GPT – which the group reportedly plans to integrate into all its business applications in the near future.
It will first be integrated into DingTalk, Alibaba’s workplace messaging app and it can be used to summarise meeting notes, write emails and draft business proposals, the company said in a statement, Reuters reported.
