WELLINGTON - New Zealand has voted in a referendum to legalise euthanasia for those with a terminal illness.
Preliminary results suggest that the proposal was approved by 65.2% to 33.8%.
However, on the question of whether to legalise cannabis, only 46.1% of New Zealanders voted in favour and 53.1% against.
