DUBAI - COP28 is set to take place from November 30 to December 12, 2023 in Dubai in the presence of Pope Francis.
The United Kingdom’s King Charles III will also attend the opening ceremony.
It is the first time a pontiff has attended the convention since its emergence 28 years ago.
The 28th session of the Conference of Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP28) will take place from November 30 to December 12, 2023, in Expo City Dubai.
