JABALIA, GAZA - At least 15 people died and 30 were wounded by an Israeli air strike on Jabalia refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip on Saturday, Palestinian news agency Wafa reported.

Planes bombed the gate of a school sheltering refugees in the camp and hit people who were trying to return to their homes, according to Wafa.

The injured were transported to Kamal Adwan hospital, it said.

The Civil Defence in Gaza said its teams recovered several bodies and rescued people after the strike hit a house in Jabalia.

Another two people were shot dead by Israeli forces west of Nuseirat camp in central Gaza on Saturday, Wafa said.
