BRUSSELS - A racing pigeon has gone for £1.4 million at an auction in Belgium.
The final half-hour of the auction saw the bidding intensify as two Chinese bidders drove up the price by £251,000.
“Everybody is interested in our pigeons,” Pascal Bodengien, head of the Belgian Pigeon Federation, told The Associated Press.
